BUT while the proprietor and her waiter were welcoming, friendly and polite, the service was slipshod to lackadaisical and slow to nonexistent. I just got a phone call THIS MORNING that an event I booked in advance at Pink Bicycle Tearoom, to celebrate 3 birthdays in my family... reservation for 9 people GOT CANCELLED...ON THE SAME DAY WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE ONLY 3 HOURS BEFORE EVENT! I could not make out in the voicemail the reason for this but looking at other reviews, seems this has happened before. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL. The last time my family came here, it was under different management. We have toured different tearooms and were looking for a change. Will definitely not try here again! Now I'm hoping Miss Minerva's in Culpeper has any openings today because we are trying to figure out where we can go! So vexing!December 02, 2016
